Next we was the relay that started with two people would announce where they were born. For instance someone was from Norway and the other from Korea. So we had the Koreans against the Norwegians. As they sat in the wheel chair their first line of competition was to take the brake off then race to the other side of the stage and put the brake back on then proceed to the walker race across the stage to the cane race back across the stage. Some of the contestants were very competitive. Others would pause to hand the cane to the competitor before they ran for the winning line. The audience roared with delight.
What a clown Zenda and Cindy were. Very funny.
The next events were the marble down the raceway to knock over the domino.
At the same time the block relay was happening. They had to balance small wooden blocks across the stage without them toppling over. Each time they accomplished the side to side balancing act they were giving two more blocks. The highest number of blocks reached was 8.
What a day of blasted good fun!
