We usually have a few programs for Christmas. We sing for our center then another program for the Family and Friends evening program. This year I have had my knee replaced. Short of the long story is I had to go back to surgery to have debris taken out of my new knee. Because we have talented people in the choir Rosie Summers was able to pull the practices together and lead them through. Lorene Armstrong (piano player) and Fred Edwards (drummer and other instruments) were a great combination for this support.
I was able to come to the program and listen to it. Sadly this was the last program that Fred will have with us. He has carried drum sets and other sound equipment for years and years to our center. Now it is too much for him. Fred has brought a tangible spark to our choir. It will not be the same without him. Thank you Fred for all the kindness, music, and talent you've brought to the music and people in and out of the choir.
