Serving Time Cafe Bingo

The Serving Time Cafe from the prison gave a rip snortin' fun bingo game.  They brought a beautiful cake from their kitchen and great prizes.  Our seniors always have fun going to their restaurant.

Bird Show

The show was from the AVIAN SANCTUARY AND PROTECTION people.  These are birds that needed medical or rescue techniques.  It's very educational and very interesting.

Boiled Egg Contest

Eileen and Fred smack talked themselves into a boiled egg contest.  We had three teams with three people on each.  Each team had their own technique on how to cook and peel a dozen eggs.  The winners were judged by the kitchen lady - Beverly.  The team that had the least amount of blemishes on their dozen eggs won.

 We named each team, The Scrambled Eggs, The Poached Eggs and the Cracked Eggs.  That was name only, everyone did boiled eggs.

Saying Goodbye to Christi Akerson

Christi has taught Chess Club for seven years and Piano Lessons for five and a half years.  Her students are going to miss her a lot.  Thanks Christi for serving here.
