Phoenix Jazz Band Entertainment

Phoenix Jazz Band Entertainment was more than super, I'm talking WOW!
This entertainment was jumping hot good.  Thank you for making music so enjoyable.  Please come again.
If ever you have the opportunity to hear their music, don't pass by.  Make sure you take time to hear them.  Smokin' Hot Awesome!

Service Project For Poor Children

Tiny Tim's Toy Factory makes wooded cars for volunteers to add a finish to them for poor children that cannot afford toys.  Gloria and Don Bjerreguard have headed this up at our center.  After today the total cars our center has completed 800 cars.  That feels good.  800 children will have a toy car now because of the center patrons volunteer work and time.

Granger High Talent Show 2015

Senior Idol Event 2015

This year we had a great surprise.  The people from Serving Time brought refreshments for our guests at the Senior Idol Event.  How fun was that?  We can always take surprises like that.  Nice job guys, nice job.
For judges this year previous winners of Senior Idol were asked to do the judging.
Marge Hammond, Charles Bradley and Charlotte Sheffield
Before the event started our karaoke machine quit on us.  Zenda's family had a beautiful substitute for us.
Kassandra Sheldon from 10th East sang Impossible Dream. She won 2nd place
Patrick Williams from 10th East sang Some Enchanted Evening.  He won 3rd place.
Walt Wood From Taylorsville sang Sixteen Ton.  He won the Senior Idol Title.  Congratulations Walt!

and a special thanks to Janet Wilson for collecting all of the gifts from our sponsors.
Another special thanks to David Murdock and his band people.  They played the postlude and sing a long music for our event.  They are very talented people and we surely enjoyed their music.
This is the last year for the Senior Idol Event.  We are happy to have had this event for so many years, but it is time to do something different.  Watch for next years talent event to be announced.

This year was great along with the previous.

One of the things brought up from the previous winners was that other doors opened because of winning in the Senior Idol.  They are more confident to share their singing in other places and look forward to singing every chance they get.  Congratulations everyone.  To all of the participants throughout the years I personally thank you for sharing and making this program a success.  You made my heart swell and my tears fall with joy.  I loved watching and hearing each of you.  You hold a place in my happy heart.  Thank you.

Fred Edwards and Lorene Armstrong Entertainment 2015

Fred and Lorene have volunteered their talents for years for the Noteable Angel Choir.  We thought it was time to have them do a show for us.  Lorene can play the keyboard of any piano very well as her beautiful voice rings across the room in song.

Fred has professionally played in many a band.  He can be a one man band.  Fred can play a variety of instruments.  The saxophone, drums and clarinet brought a thrill to the audience.  Listening to Fred sing is like stepping into the past of famous singers.

Thank you for sharing and serving your talents with our center.  We love both of you.

Granger High Carnival 2015

The students from Granger High brought a carnival to our center.  As the games were played at their carnival seniors received tickets to get cotton candy, and popcorn.  We always enjoy spending time with the Granger High Students.  They are so kind.
